After a successful head-to-head challenge last week, Philippine bet Michelle Dee is now advancing to the next round!

In a post made by the Miss World Organization, Michelle's name was written among other 19 contestants who have successfully showcased their smarts and the advocacies they believe in.

The Kapuso host and actress is currently advocating for autism awareness which she has described as a “lifelong mission.”

In a talk with the Autism Society of the Philippines, Michelle said, “You know a lot of people ask me why I joined Miss World, as opposed to the other beauty pageants and I did that because of their motto, which is beauty with a purpose.”

She narrated how this mantra helped her have the motivational drive to give back to the community through advocacies that help people with autism.

Michelle takes autism awareness to heart as she grew up with two siblings with Autism, “Having grown up with two autistic siblings taught me the concept of purpose.”

“The Philippines and the whole world should be an autism-okay nation and world,” she concluded.

In the next round, scheduled today (December 10), the reigning Miss World Philippines will be going head-to-head with Miss World Turkey Simay Rasimoglu.

If Michelle wins, she will be guaranteed a spot in the Top 40 at the finals come December 14.
